Chrissy

Chrissy was the first face you saw upon entering the barn, greeting you with a knicker and letting the herd know there was a visitor. She was the herd boss, making certain that all was in order and safe.

While she was unable to be a riding partner for the program, Chrissy had the uncanny ability to comfort those in distress… they often gravitated to her and receive breaths of reassurance from this anchor of the barn. On occasion she participated in groundwork sessions, teaching dynamic lunging and use of body language to students. She was the perfect example of resilience and determination, imparting strength to all in her presence.

Chrissy is credited for mending many hearts. While she is now in heaven dancing for Jesus, we will give thanks for the gift of her time with us.

So that her memory lives on, we will keep her Meet the Herd profile active.
